Hour 1: How do parents cope when their kids finally grow up and go off to college? We’ll spend this hour with novelist Sarah Bird [1] who fictionalized her experiences in the new book “The Gap Year” (Knopf, 2011). Sarah will appear at A Real Bookstore [2] this evening for an event that’s part of their “Fierce Words and Stiff Drinks” series.
