Beauty and Function in Landscape

Hour 2: What makes a landscape a beautiful, pleasing and functional space? We’ll spend this hour with landscape architect Peter Walker, FASLA [1]. His firm, PWP Landscape Architecture [2], has designed countless influential landscape projects around the world including the National 9/11 Memorial in New York and the Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas. Walker is in town to participate in the “Longing for Beauty” Conference at the Dallas Institute of Humanities & Culture [3].
