Hour 1: Can exposure to art improve the ability of sick or recovering patients to heal more rapidly and more completely? We’ll discuss the case for “evidence-based art” this hour with Kathy Hathorn, CEO and Creative Director, and Upali Nanda, Director of Research at American Art Resources [1] – an organization that aims to improve the healthcare experience of patients, visitors and staff at hospitals. Hathorn and Nanda will participate in a Business Council for the Arts [2] seminar at the Winspear Opera House this afternoon.
