A Completed Dallas Arts District

Hour 1: The Dallas Arts District buildings are finished, but what’s still needed to make the area a complete neighborhood for artists and patrons in the heart of the city? We’ll spend this hour with Veletta Forsythe Lill [1], outgoing Executive Director of The Dallas Arts District, Dallas Mayor Mike Rawlings [2] and Ann Margolin [3], Council Member for District 13 and Chair of the City’s Arts, Culture and Libraries Committee.
Krys Boyd & Mayor Rawlings will participate in the first annual Reading Partners Celebrity Spelling Bee [4] this Wednesday, October 10th at 6pm at the Dallas City Performance Hall.
Update: Krys will actually compete with the Mayor at Wednesday’s spelling bee!
