‘A Black Odyssey’ Continues

[1]Hour 2:           How does Romare Bearden’s legacy live on in contemporary art? We’ll find out this hour with Fort Worth artist Sedrick Huckaby [2], who credits Bearden as an important influence. The exhibition Romare Bearden: A Black Odyssey [3] is now on view at the Amon Carter Museum of American Art in Fort Worth. Huckaby’s oil painting Hidden in Plain Site is also on view in the museum’s atrium.
