Another Go At Graduating

[1]Hour 1:             For students who face incredible challenges at home, sometimes dropout prevention plans aren’t enough. But teens who leave school can come back. How do districts recognize which at-risk students are serious about succeeding, and what are the best ways to bring out the strength they’ll need to finish? As part of KERA’s American Graduate Initiative [2], we’ll spend the hour with Bronson Lewis, who helps run the Lewisville Learning Center’s Night High School [3], and Kathy Goad, project director for the WINGS dropout recovery program [4] in DeSoto ISD.
