Hour 1: Hugh Aynesworth  wasn’t assigned to cover the Dallas visit of President John F. Kennedy on November 22, 1963. But the 32-year-old Dallas Morning News reporter saw the president’s assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald’s arrest and the shooting of Oswald by Jack Ruby. Aynesworth, who went on to become a 4-time Pulitzer-Prize finalist and lead bureaus at Newsweek and the Washington Times, joins us fifty years later to reveal new details he shares in “November 22, 1963: Witness to History” (Brown Books, 2013).
