October 15, 2013
Hour 2: What was the political climate like in Dallas 50 years ago, and did that climate set the stage for the Kennedy Assassination? We’ll talk this hour with Bill Minutaglio and Steve Davis, the authors of Dallas: 1963 . Their book looks at the characters who build anti-Kennedy sentiment ahead of the president’s visit.
The authors will speak and sign books at the 6th Floor Museum Nov. 10. The event is free, but you’ll need a ticket.
KERA helps bring Jim Lehrer and others to Southside Ballroom for a symposium looking at the impact of the Kennedy assassination on Dallas Sat., Nov. 2. Find info and tickets here.
