[1]Hour 1:           It’s nearly everywhere, but what is the real impact of Japanese anime on our culture and how can we measure it? We’ll talk this hour with Ian Condry [2], a cultural anthropologist at MIT who specializes on media, popular culture, and globalization with a focus on contemporary Japan and the U.S. His recent book is The Soul of Anime: Collaborative Creativity and Japan’s Media Success Story [3] (Duke University Press Books, 2013).
