Hour 2:        Norman Rockwell had as much of an impact as any artist in defining our American identity during the 20th Century. The Saturday Evening Post published his folksy illustrations for nearly 50 years. But the man who drew them suffered from depression and questioned his own talents. We’ll get to know Rockwell this hour with Deborah Solomon, whose new book is American Mirror: The Life and Art of Norman Rockwell (Farrar, Straus and Giroux).
