Hour 1:       In 1968, 6,000 U.S. Marines faced an epic challenge: 20,000 North Vietnamese Army troops had them surrounded. We’ll look back this hour at their 77-day struggle for survival with Gregg Jones. His new book is Last Stand at Khe Sanh: The U.S. Marines’ Finest Hour in Vietnam (Da Capo).

Gregg, I’m eager to read your book. Khe Sanh occurred a few months before I came to Sai-Gon June 1968, to be with my husband who was a chopper pilot with Air America. The Air America archives at UTD may have some references of their involvement in Khe Sanh.
