In this special documentary, Willie Velasquez: Your Vote is Your Voice, meet the man who led the Southwest Voter Registration Education Project and paved the way for the Latino voice in American government. This film is presented nationwide by Latino Public Broadcasting, KLRN- San Antonio and KLRU-Austin and will premiere on KERA TV on Monday, October 3 at 9:30pm.

KERA will co-host a free screening of the Velasquez film in Dallas and Fort Worth.
