How To Pay For College

Americans owe nearly $1.3 trillion in student loans. This hour, as part of KERA’s One Crisis Away: Drowning in Debt series, we’ll talk about strategies for paying for college and about how much debt is reasonable to take on, and all week long, NPR is exploring economic issues in its project,“A Nation Engaged.” We’ll be joined by Ron Elsenbaumer, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs at UT-Arlington; and Cynthia Butler, executive director of financial aid for Dallas County Community College District.
