KERA Presents Conversation with Bill Lively, Hosted by Lee Cullum
Airs Monday, June 23 at 8:00 p.m. on KERA Television
DALLAS/FORT WORTH – As the founding President and CEO of the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, Bill Lively is at the center of a project that will change the cultural complexion of the City of Dallas for generations. Former musician, NFL half-time show producer and consummate fundraiser, Bill Lively talks with KERA’s Lee Cullum about his philanthropic success and the prevailing theme of music in his life. Conversation with Bill Lively airs at 8:00 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2008 on KERA-TV. The program will rebroadcast at 9:30 p.m., Sunday, June 28, 2008. Thisis the first KERA original production in the Art&Seek series.
Taped at the Kalita Humphreys Theater of the Dallas Theater Centerand on location at the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts construction site, Conversation with Bill Lively takes viewers behind the scenes for a look at the three venues, outdoor concert facility and park that make up the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts.Lee Cullum talks with Mr. Lively about raising more than $300 million dollars towards the $338 million dollar goal to design, construct and equip the facilities. An unprecedented number of more than 120 Dallas philanthropists have contributed $1 million dollars or more towards that goal. The Dallas Center for the Performing Arts is scheduled to open in fall 2009.

The Dallas Center for the Performing Arts is a multi-venue Center for music, opera, theater and dance.
