KERA WORLD LAUNCHES ON CHANNEL 13.2

 

DALLAS/FORT WORTH – KERA’s has launched a second 24-hour digital channel. KERA WORLD 13.2 showcases the popular documentaries, public affairs, science and history programs viewers identify with public television. KERA 13.2 is currently available on KERA’s over-the-air signal. To receive it, viewers should re-scan their converter box to pick up channel 13.2. Cable and satellite customers may need to directly contact their provider.

“We’re excited to bring KERA WORLD to the viewers of North Texas. The second channel will offer more programming choices and opportunities for viewers to learn about the world around them,” says KERA’s Vice President of Television Programming, Bill Young. “In addition to NOVA, History Detectives and Nature, they will have the opportunity to see programs that are not regularly scheduled on 13.1 including Global Voices, Voces, Scully: The World Show and Foreign Exchange.” The KERA WORLD schedule is posted at kera.org.
