loved looking at these. but it shows that artists' spaces here are pitifully few–places that accommodate and encourage good work, but that are also affordable. i can always dream…!!!

Very comforting to see these spaces, read these comments. For this insecure, shy, "my stuff's too weird, too primitive, too confused and confusing" artist, these pictures and stories affirm that my studio is as small and inadequate (and well-loved) as any other artist's. I like knowing that. It takes the anxiety down a notch. Thx for sharing!

Great article. It really illustrates the wide difference between each artist's approach to creating a studio. I hope more artists send in photos.
