More Free Night of Theater Tickets

If you missed out on last week’s Free Night of Theater ticket-grab, today is your lucky day. At 3 p.m., 150 additional tickets will be made available for Dallas Children’s Theater’s Lilly’s Purple Plastic Purse, plus 100 more tickets for One Thirty Productions’ Wedding Belles.   1. In another post you were talking about John McCain’s ideas on the arts and education.
    What about DCT? Do they go to the DISD schools and give performances? That would be a nice part of any student’s art education.

  2. Tom — yes, Dallas Children’s Theater is an active participant in many art education programs (residencies, workshops, student matinees). DCT is a member of ArtsPartners, a collaboration of over 50 cultural organizations and DISD, that connects the cultural resources to teachers and students in the school system. It’s a great collbaoration that the Office of Cultural Affairs has proudly supported for over 10 years.
