Visit a Museum on the Cheap
If you’re about to head into a four-day mini-vacation, you might consider taking advantage of a few museum deals.
First, if you are a Bank of America cardholder, you can flash your card and get free admission to the Dallas Museum of Art, Fort Worth Museum of Science and History and the Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas. The offer is good on the first weekend of every month beginning this weekend through April, 2009.
Next, if you haven’t seen the King Tut exhibit at the DMA, the museum is beginning to offer some discounted tickets. Of immediate importance is a New Years Day deal good for $10 off adult admission. You can book that through Ticketmaster by entering the promo code NEWYEARS or by just going to the box office. For a full list of Tut deals, click here.
And don’t forget, this is the last free Sunday at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth. Check out the museum’s first FOCUS show of the year, featuring Ranjani Shettar.
