Boyfriends is a multimedia project that examines the complex personal and cultural factors that contribute to the way adolescent girls form and maintain relationships. The project began with a series of radio reports about four teenagers coming to terms with pregnancy. KERA reporter Sujata Dand followed these teens and others for a year and updated her findings in the Boyfriends television documentary and web page, which made their debut in fall 2009.
