DALLAS/FORT WORTH — KXT 91.7 FM, in partnership with Live Nation, announces a two-for-one ticket offer for KERA and KXT members for Summer Cut: The Happy Funtime Fest. Current members who purchase a ticket to the Aug. 15 concert at Gexa Energy Pavilion between Friday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. and Monday, Aug. 4 at 11:59 p.m. will receive a second ticket for free. In addition to an incredible lineup of live music, Summer Cut also will feature the return of Art&Seek’s Artisan Village. Local businesses offering eclectic clothing, jewelry and more include Ornamental Things, Dowdy Studio, Deborah Turner Designs, folksie, Haus of Growlers, Artistic Magic by Jennifer and The Neon South. Some of North Texas’ most highly regarded food tucks also will be on hand, including What’s Da Scoop, Bombay Street Food, Tutta’s, Vegan Noms, Easy Slider, Dread Head Chef and The Butcher’s Son.

Indie-rockers Death Cab for Cutie will headline KXT’s third-annual Summer Cut festival. The lineup also features eclectic folk artist Iron & Wine, The Hold Steady and up-and-coming brother-sister duo The Oh Hellos. Additional artists include The Wild Feathers, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down and local acts The Unlikely Candidates, The Orbans and Valise.
