The purpose of the show is to offer relief to many Dallas artists who are unemployed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“This is our response to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the visual and performing and culinary and literary arts community! The federal support and funding that has come to organizations and venues have not filtered down to the individual that makes the arts happen in Dallas,” said Randall White, founder and president of 24HourDallas.

“We’re just trying to step up and own a little bit of that so anyone that wants to support the individual artist– here is the place to do that.”

Artists from all disciplines will be participating in Dallas Digithon. The show called for talents in the worlds of fashion, food, photographers, DJs, painters, burlesque, magicians, literary arts, jugglers, dancers, singers, poetry, spoken word, ventriloquists, instrumentalists, and more.

There is no cost to perform and the funds raised during the Dallas Digithon will benefit individual artists. Dallas artists can also apply for a relief grant on the 24HourDallas website.
