Avant Chamber Ballet is presenting the ballet company’s first in-person performance for the 2020-21 season. 

 The evening includes three ballets: Katie Puder’s 19th Amendment, which premiered in spring 2020 with new music by composer Quinn Mason; Puder’s Ravel Violin Sonata, and the world premiere of Madison Hicks’ Still Growing. Hicks is the winner of this year’s Women’s Choreography Project residency and commission for the 2020‐21 season.

Avant Chamber Ballet has lawn seating available as well as VIP tickets including table and chair seating. For those sitting on the lawn, low stadium seats are encouraged. Chairs cannot be higher than 4 inches.  No outside food and beverages are permitted. Large bags are also not allowed in the venue. ACB also recently started its Women’s Choreography Project SOLOS – a series of commissions that bring together choreographers, musicians, and dancers in virtual performances. All three videos in the series can be viewed on Avant Chamber Ballet’s YouTube channel or social media accounts. New works will continue to be released throughout this fall and winter.
