Growing up in rural Oklahoma, the legend of Will Rogers surrounds you. That was the case for musician Beau Jennings, who’s spent the last few years traveling in Rogers’ footsteps performing songs about the entertainer’s life. This week, we talk to Jennings about the documentary that captures his journey. The Verdigris: In Search of Will Rogers screens Aug. 12 at 8 pm at the Texas Theatre.
