Nadia is a sixth-grade Egyptian immigrant navigating both the ups and downs of middle school and the challenges of being an immigrant. She’s the hero of Bassem Youssef’s children’s book “The Magical Reality of Nadia,” and she’s based on his real-life daughter. The heart surgeon turned political satirist joins host Krys Boyd to talk about the unique experiences of immigrant children and what he learned from observing his own family.
