think.kera.org 9

If you want to learn about a new place, hop in a cab and the driver will often tell you everything you need to know. The NPR correspondent joins host Krys Boyd to talk about how the experience informed his understanding of everyday life in the world’s most populous country. His new book is called “The Shanghai Free Taxi: Journeys with the Hustlers and Rebels of the New China” (PublicAffairs).
