For their upcoming concert, the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra puts the welcome mat out for Doc Severinsen. Many people remember Severinsen as the band director for Johnny Carson’s Tonight Show. He lead the swinging Tonight Show Band for 30 years. What many people may not know was he was also a sideman to Tommy Dorsey and Benny Goodman. Enter to win tickets to see the renowned high-note trumpeter pay tribute to the American songbook and highlight some of his favorite Big Band era tunes.  The one night performance is set for Sept. 26 at Bass Performance Hall.
