You cannot see the news or listen to the radio nowadays without someone talking about Homo naledi. Homo naledi is the name given  to the recently discovered new species of human ancestor found deep in a cave in South Africa. With the discovered remains of at least 15 individuals of the same species, it is already practically the best-known fossil member of human lineage.
