“SCIENCE FRIDAY” ADDED TO KERA FM LINEUP

DALLAS/FORT WORTH – KERA 90.1 FM, the public radio affiliate for NPR in North Texas, is pleased to announce the addition of NPR’s Science Friday to the radio station’s Friday broadcasting lineup. The weekly call-in show will begin airing on KERA 90.1 FM on Friday, October 26 at 1:00 p.m. CDT. Science Friday offers an educated, balanced and in-depth discussion with scientists and others from all walks of life, giving listeners the chance to hear from the people whose work influences their daily lives. Each week, journalist and host Ira Flatow will be joined by listeners and studio guests to explore science-related topics – from subatomic particles and human genome to the Internet and earthquakes.

With Science Friday joining KERA FM’s Friday broadcast schedule, A Way with Words will now air on Saturdays at 1:00 p.m. CDT, beginning Saturday, October 27 on KERA 90.1 FM. A Way with Words now joins the KERA FM Saturday programming lineup, including other popular public radio shows Car Talk; Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me; and This American Life.
